SYMPTOMS
After you install Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2), you may receive the following error message in the Cs2ksp2_
sitename_upgrade.log file (which is located in the
Commerce_Server_Root\SP2\Backup folder):
**** Error: -2147217900
Context: executing SQL command
Description:
Column or parameter #-2: Cannot find data type bigint.
When you run the report preparation task, you may receive the following error message:
Prepare Reports Task
Olap cube does not exist: mscsDateIntersect
This problem only occurs if the Sp2setup.exe file is version 1.0.0.1. Sp2setup.exe is located in the following folder:
Commerce_Server_Root\Update\CSUninstallSP2\sp2setup.exe
RESOLUTION
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Commerce 2000 service pack that contains this hotfix.
