SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft FrontPage, if you delete a file from a Web server, the file is deleted, but you may receive the following error messages in the Web server's Event Viewer Application Log:

This behavior can occur if the Web is hosted on a Web server running Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 and FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
