SYMPTOMS

When you try to send a message in Outlook 2000, you may receive the following error:
0x80070057

CAUSE

This error can occur if Microsoft Outlook Express either is not installed or was removed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, reinstall Outlook Express.

MORE INFORMATION

Outlook 2000 requires Outlook Express. Microsoft does not support Outlook 2000 if Outlook Express has been removed or was not installed.
