The following is a list of the new features found in Microsoft
QuickBASIC Version 1.00 for the Macintosh that are not found in the
Microsoft BASIC Version 3.00 Interpreter or BASIC Version 1.00
Compiler:
- Full compiler/interpreter integration
- New language and Toolbox extensions, including color support
- New support for machine-language and high-level-language
routines
- Improved HFS (Hierarchical File System) support
- Full compatibility with Macintosh SE and Macintosh II
- Access to the 68881 math coprocessor (compiler only)
- New debugging tools
- Long-integer support
