FIX: ROLAP Storage on Oracle Does Not Create Indexes for Aggregation Tables (308962)

SYMPTOMS

SQL Server does not create indexes for the aggregation tables when Analysis Services processes cubes with ROLAP storage by using Oracle as the relational OLAP data store. The lack of indexes may affect the performance of querying the ROLAP cube in such a configuration.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services.
