XFOR: The Connector for cc:Mail Does Not Parse the Middle Initial Correctly If the Middle Initial Contains More Than One Character (307652)

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus cc:Mail to synchronize with Exchange 2000 Server, the middle initial of users from cc:Mail may be parsed incorrectly. This problem occurs only if the middle initial contains more that one character.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Connector for cc:Mail cannot hold more than one character for a middle initial.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
