When you visit the MSN home page (http://www.msn.com), you receive the following Security Warning message: Do you want to install and run Microsoft Investor Ticker? You have the option to click Yes, click No, or click More Info. If you click No because you do not want to install and run the stock ticker, the message reappears the next time that you sign in to the MSN home page by using your Microsoft Passport Network account, or when you sign in to a Web site on the Passport Network or service and then visit the MSN home page.

To turn off the "Do you want to install and run Microsoft Investor Ticker?" message, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the following MSN Web site:

    http://www.msn.com

  2. Click the My MSN tab.
  3. Click Add Content.
  4. Click the All Content tab, and then locate the Finance section.
  5. Click to clear the Stock Ticker check box, and then click OK to return to My MSN.
