OL2001: Cannot Update Existing Appointments After You Update from Schedule Plus to Outlook 2001 (306743)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2001 for Mac

This article was previously published under Q306743

SUMMARY

If you do not respond to a meeting request from Microsoft Schedule+ before you upgrade to Outlook 2001 for Mac, you cannot track the calendar data for that meeting request.

MORE INFORMATION

If a Schedule+ recipient attempts to respond (accepting or declining) to an organizer that has already upgraded to Outlook 2001 for Mac, the status change is not reflected in the new migrated meeting request in Outlook 2001 for Mac.

Outlook 2001 for Mac does not have the ability to keep track of updated appointments that have been migrated from Schedule+. Schedule+ is required to manage appointments in Microsoft Outlook 8.x for Mac.

As a workaround, you can create new appointments for the Schedule+ meeting requests that require updated information in Outlook 2001 for Mac.
