SYMPTOMS

When COM+ caches a large quantity of security access check results for each user for a given session, the program may affect the performance of the operating system.

CAUSE

This problem can occur because the COM+ security check cache size has an 8,000-entry limit, and this limit is hard-coded.

RESOLUTION
