SYMPTOMS

When you try to install one of the programs listed in the "Applies To" section of this article, you may receive one of the following error messages where program is the name of the program that you are trying to install:
Error file name GFVXD(01) + 00002F13 Error: OE:0028:C15E2953 installing program
Blue Screen Fatal Exception 0e in MCSCAN32

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if CyberWarner is installed and is running on your computer at the time that you try to install one of the Microsoft Office programs listed in the "Applies To" section of this article.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.

Remove CyberWarner from the StartUp Group

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Right-click Start, and then click Explore to start Microsoft Windows Explorer.
  3. In the Folders pane, click the plus sign (+) next to the Windows folder.
  4. In the Windows folder, click the plus sign (+) next to Start Menu, and then double-click StartUp.
  5. Right-click CyberWarner, and then click Delete.

    NOTE: This removes CyberWarner from the StartUp group. CyberWarner no longer runs automatically when you start your computer.
  6. Install the Office program you want.

Disable CyberWarner and Install the Office Program

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Locate the CyberWarner icon among the StartUp program icons, usually located next to the Clock.
  3. Right-click the CyberWarner icon, and then click Disable.
  4. Install the Office program you want.
After the installation is complete and the computer restarts, CyberWarner automatically starts running again.

Prevent CyberWarner from Loading on Startup

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the CyberWarner icon.
  3. Click to clear the Load CyberWarner on startup check box.
  4. Close the CyberWarner window, and then close Control Panel.
  5. Restart Windows.
