Cannot Post Binary Data Correctly Using the Navigate Method (305932)

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Navigate method of the Internet Explorer 5.5 Web Browser control to post binary data to an ASP page, the data may be posted incorrectly. It appears that null characters are being seen as terminators, causing only part of the stream to be sent.

RESOLUTION

This problem is resolved in Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2. For information about obtaining the latest version of Internet Explorer, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
