The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet 1.0

This article was previously published under Q304926

SYMPTOMS

When you create a port through the Messaging Manager, the PIPAdapterSDK CPIPAdapterManager may not be available when you set the primary transport to Application Integration Component (AIC). However, when you run the scripts that were created with the Messaging Configuration Wizard, the ports are automatically set to this AIC.

CAUSE

The CPIPAdapterManager AIC is not registered correctly during setup.

RESOLUTION

  1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
  2. Locate and click the following key in the registry:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{F70257B9-84C0-45D8-956A-D962C9AA6572}\Implemented Categories

  3. Right-click Implemented Categories, click New, and then click Key.
  4. For the name of the new key, type the following:

    {BD193E1D-D7DC-4B7C-B9D2-92AE0344C836}

After you create this key, you should be able to select the CPIPAdapterManager as an Application Integration Component for your port.

STATUS
