Logon Locally Right Is Required for Cross-Domain Polling (304900)

SUMMARY

When BizTalk Server is located in one domain (Domain1) and the polling location of the Receive Function is in another domain (Domain2), two-way trust must be established between Domain1 and Domain2. In addition, the Domain2 account configured in the Receive Function for accessing the polling location must have the Logon Locally user right on the computer running BizTalk Server.

Domain Group Policy and/or Local Security Policy can be used to grant the Logon Locally user right. Without the Logon Locally user right, the following error appears in the event log:

An error occurred in BizTalk Server.
 
 Details:
 ------------------------------
 Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type
 at this computer.

 Unable to logon with the account (null). Make sure that (null) has 
 been granted "logon locally" privilege on this server and that the 
 BizTalk Server account has "act as part of the operating system"  privilege.

 The receive function "MyReceive" has experienced problems, it will 
 be shut down and disabled. Once these problems have been corrected, 
 re-enable this receive function in BizTalk Server Administration.

 There was a failure processing the "MyReceive" receive function. 
 Check your receive function configuration in BizTalk Server  Administration.
