"Program Requires 256 Colors (8-Bit)" Error Message When You Start School House Rock 1st-4th Math (304800)

When you attempt to run the Creative Wonders School House Rock 1st-4th Math program, you may receive the following error message:
This program requires 256 colors (8-bit) to run properly.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the color palette is set for a color selection other than 256 colors, for example High-color (16-bit) or True Color (24-bit).
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, change the color palette settings for the program:
- Right-click the desktop shortcut or the executable file (*.exe) for the Creative Wonders School House Rock 1st-4th Math program.
- Click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab.
- On the Compatibility tab, under the Display options, click to select the Run in 256 Colors and the Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution check boxes.
- Click OK to make the changes take effect.
