Netscape 4.7 Browser on a Macintosh Server Sets and Shows Time Incorrectly (302150)

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Netscape 4.7 browser on a Macintosh server, time zones east of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) will be off by 24 hours. You will notice this problem when you create or modify a channel posting, or when you modify page properties.

RESOLUTION

If you are in a time zone that is east of GMT, remember to take the date disparity into account.

MORE INFORMATION

Time zones are set correctly in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later or in Netscape 4.7 if you are in a time zone west of GMT.
