The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Content Management Server 2001
  • NCompass Resolution 4.0

This article was previously published under Q302078

SYMPTOMS

In order to create internal links in the placeholder, either you must create them by hand in the HTML source, or you must create the hyperlinks and anchors in Microsoft Word and then paste them into a placeholder. Hyperlinks that have been copied into placeholders must be reapplied to the anchors. This also applies to HTML documents with internal links copied from a browser window.

RESOLUTION

If you have a Word document with hyperlinks to bookmarks within the document, you can copy and paste the whole document into a placeholder. Then, select the text (existing hyperlink) that you want to link to a bookmark, click the Internal Link button, and then type the anchor name (bookmark name).
