To add a line end in a Visio drawing, follow these steps:
  1. Select the line that you want to add an end to.
  2. On the Format menu, click Line.
  3. Under Line ends, select the type and size of line end that you want at the beginning and/or end of the line, and then click OK.
NOTE: In some drawing types, the connectors already have appropriate line ends. For example, if you connect flowchart shapes by using the Dynamic connector shape or the Connector tool, the lines automatically end with arrowheads that point in the direction that the process is moving.
