You receive error messages when you move or copy items in the Advance Find window in Outlook 2002 (301415)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to move or copy items from the Advance Find window in Outlook 2002, you may receive one of the following error messages:

Can't move the items.

-or-

Can't copy the items.

CAUSE

This problem can occur because there is a conflict with the Component Object Model (COM) add-ins that are installed.

WORKAROUND

To resolve this problem, click the Edit menu, and then click either Copy to Folder or Move to Folder while you are in the Advanced Find window to move or copy an item.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
