SUMMARY

This article describes how to enable MTXOCI.dll trace logging in Windows NT and Windows 2000.

MORE INFORMATION

In Windows NT, the following registry setting turns on MTXOCI.dll trace logging and sets the log path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\mtx.ini

In Windows 2000, the registry setting is as follows:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSDTC\MTxOCI

To enable logging and set the log path, create a named string (REG_SZ) value named DebugTrace. Set the value equal to the path to which you want to log. For example:

C:\Temp\MtxOci
