SYMPTOMS

When you import contacts from Microsoft Outlook for Windows to Outlook 2001 for Mac or when you import contacts from Outlook 2001 for Mac to a version of Outlook for Windows, certain fields are not imported and there is not an error message that displays that the data was not imported.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because certain field names do not match between the Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows versions of Outlook.

RESOLUTION
