PPT2000: Mouse Pointer May Not Change When You Use IME (300888)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Input Method Editor (IME) to edit text in Microsoft PowerPoint, the mouse pointer may not change after you determine the characters.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the mouse pointer is on the undetermined characters when you determine them.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
