OFFXP: Setup Error Reporting Dialog Box Does Not Appear When Installing from Administrative Installation (300404)

When you run Microsoft Office XP Setup and an error occurs during installation, the dialog box asking you to report this problem to Microsoft may not appear.
CAUSE
The dialog box asking you to report a setup problem to Microsoft may not appear if you are installing Office XP from an administrative installation.
By
default, the SETUPDW property in the Office XP .msi file is set to 0 if you are installing from an administrative installation. In contrast, if you are installing from a compact disc, the SETUPDW property is set to 1. If the value of this property is 0, then this dialog box will not appear when an error occurs during installation.
WORKAROUND
You can work around this problem by overriding the default behavior and specifying the appropriate value for the SETUPDW property on the command line. For example, if you want to enable the error reporting feature when you install Office XP from an administrative installation, use a command-line similar to this:
\\server\share\Officexp\setup.exe SetupDW=1
If you want to disable this feature for installations from a compact disc, use a command-line similar to this:
<CD-ROM drive>:\Setup SetupDW=0
where <CD-ROM drive> is the letter of your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
