Visio2000: Cannot Use the Number Shape Macro to Automatically Number Tank or Vessel Shapes (300066)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use the Number Shape macro to automatically number specific shapes in the Process Engineering Solution, some of the shapes are not numbered.

CAUSE

The Tank shapes are protected so that no text can be entered. The wizard cannot populate the shape with any data. The shapes that cannot be numbered include the following:
  • Tank shapes
  • Vessel shapes

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change the numbers of the shapes manually. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Right-click the shape, and then click Edit Tag.
  2. Click Override intelligent tag for this component, and then type the information in the corresponding field.
