To turn off the opening movie so that it does not run when you start Train Simulator, follow these steps.

  1. Click Start, click Run, and then type regedit in the Open box.
  2. Click OK.
  3. Navigate to the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\1.0\HWRenderer

  4. In the left pane, double-click ShowLogo under the Name column.
  5. Change the Value data from 1 to 0.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Quit the Registry Editor.
