SYMPTOMS

After you lock and then log back on to your computer with Microsoft Train Simulator at the opening screen, the following behavior may occur:
  • The display becomes completely black.

    -or-

  • The display flickers.
After you lock and then log back on to your computer with a Train Simulator simulation running, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Access violation - code c0000005 (first chance)

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, save the game and quit Train Simulator before you lock your computer.
