SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to play streaming audio in Microsoft Internet Explorer, you may receive an error message similar to one of the following

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when streaming audio is stopped and then restarted, or when you switch between audio streams.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, try playing the Web-based streaming audio in Microsoft Windows Media Player.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
