SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Visio, the X coordinates of shapes (displayed in the Size & Position window) in an Office Layout (Metric Units) drawing may be expressed in inches rather than in metric units as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs with the following shapes:
  • Door
  • Double door
  • Window

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
