This article was previously published under Q298934 SYMPTOMS When you use either of the products listed in the "Applies
to" section, operations related to the Find and Find Places commands may be unavailable (dimmed).CAUSE This problem may occur if Microsoft Internet Explorer is
not correctly updated, which can occur if the user chooses not to install all of
the Internet Explorer components.RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, install the components that you
need from the Internet Explorer CD-ROM. To do this, follow these steps:
- Insert Streets and Trips CD 1.
Hold down the
SHIFT key to prevent the CD from automatically running. - Click Start, click
Run, type CD-ROM:\MSMap\Redist\Common\50comupd.exe in the Open box, and then click OK. In this example, CD-ROM is the drive letter of
your CD-ROM (or DVD-ROM) device.
