SYMPTOMS

An access violation may occur in Davex.dll while the Extensible Markup Language (XML) body of a message is downloading through Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA). Clients may stop responding (hang) and not report an error.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
