SUMMARY

This article describes how to configure Outlook Mobile Manager to prevent e-mail messages from being forwarded to your mobile device.

MORE INFORMATION

After you install Outlook Mobile Manager, you can forward e-mail messages, reminders and a daily summary to your device (this action is the default action). However, in some instances, you can prevent e-mail messages from being forwarded, but still receive reminders for your calendar items. You may want to prevent e-mail messages from being forwarded if there are message limitations on your device.

To prevent e-mail messages from being forwarded to your device:
  1. Make sure that you have not configured any rules in Microsoft Outlook to forward messages to your Mobile Inbox.
  2. Start Outlook Mobile Manager, click My Profile, and then click to clear the Send e-mail to my mobile device check box.
  3. To continue to receive reminders on your device, click Reminders, and then click to select Send Reminders when you are not receiving any other messages.
