SYMPTOMS

In localized versions of the BizTalk Editor, the "Microsoft Corporation" hyperlink in the About BizTalk Editor dialog box links to an unlocalized Web site.

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for BizTalk Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in BizTalk Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in BizTalk Server 2000 Service Pack 1.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Install French Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
  2. Install French Windows 2000 Service Pack 1.
  3. From the Add/Remove Programs dialog box, click Add/Remove Windows Components. Install and configure Message Queuing Services.
  4. Install French Microsoft Visio 2000 SR1.
  5. Install French Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition.
  6. Install BizTalk Server 2000.
  7. From the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000, and then click BizTalk Editor.
  8. On the Help menu, click About BizTalk Editor.
  9. Click Microsoft Corporation in the dialog box. Notice that the URL links to an unlocalized Web site instead of a localized Web site.
