297406. SYMPTOMS When you try to check the spelling of your Word document by
using a Visual Basic for Applications macro, Word may indicate an incorrect
number of misspelled words.
For more

in the Visual Basic Editor, click Microsoft Visual Basic Help on the Help menu, type spellingerrors in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topic.
CAUSE This problem can occur if the misspelled word or words
contain characters that are not letters; for example, an asterisk (*), a
less-than sign (<), or a greater-than sign (>). RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, obtain the latest
