FP2002: Form Results are Written After Closing </HTML> Tag (296852)

SYMPTOMS

When you configure a FrontPage form to write HTML to an existing HTML page in your Web site, the form writes the results outside of the closing </HTML> tag.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, modify the page to which the form results will be written.
  1. Open the page to which the form results will be written. Click the HTML tab.
  2. Move the following code from the end of the page to the place where you want the form results to appear.
    <!--webbot BOT="FormInsertHere" DESCR="The FrontPage FormInsertHere Component indicates the point in an HTML file where you want a default, Registration, or Discussion Component to insert new results."-->
    <hr>
    					
    NOTE: Use a location between the <body></body> tags.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
