SYMPTOMS

In the configuration interface of the Exchange 2000 Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes, the length of the strings that you can enter in the Source name and address book and Routable domains boxes is limited to 15 characters. For many Lotus Notes installations, this limitation may be a problem.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the 15-character length is the default value

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
