LogSelect provides an interface that you can use to set the debug flags that are located in the registry. You can use the debug flags to troubleshoot issues that are related to Mobile Information Server. To view the debug output that you create when you use LogSelect, use the Misdbmon.exe tool that is included in Mobile Information Server installation media.

To use LogSelect to enable debug logging:
  1. Click to select the Enable debug logging check box.
  2. Click Apply or OK to save the settings.
  3. Restart the Mobile Information Server services.
To use preset component settings in LogSelect:
  1. Click to select the Enable debug logging check box.
  2. Click Apply or OK to save the settings.
  3. Restart the Mobile Information Server services.
To specify individual debug flags in LogSelect:
  1. Click to select the Enable debug logging check box.
  2. In the Flags section, click the appropriate debug components to enable logging for these components.
  3. Click Apply or OK to save the settings.
  4. Restart the Mobile Information Server services.
