Outlook 2002 has 10 colors that you can use to color appointments and meetings. These colors are visible in the Day/Week/Month view of your calendar.

Each color comes with a label, and you may change these labels. For example, you can change the label of the color red from "important" to "urgent." Use the following steps to change appointments and meeting color labels:
  1. Click the Calendar folder.
  2. On the Edit menu, point to Label, and then click Edit Labels.
  3. Type the text that you want to associate with each color.
You can use these steps to edit the labels back to their defaults, if needed.
