OFF97: Error Message: Error While Configuring ODBC Drivers! (296201)

If you attempt to install Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR2) on a Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98-based computer, you receive the following error message:
Error while configuring ODBC drivers!
The configuration of ODBC MSAccess driver (*.mdb) failed.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you install Microsoft Office, and there are newer versions of the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) components already installed on your computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Rename the following files by changing the file name extension to ".old" (without the quotation marks).
