This article was previously published under Q296034

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install the OnePoint database on a Microsoft SQL Server clustered node, the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) Setup program reports that it cannot find the SQLServerAgent, and the installation stops.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because MOM does not support installation of the OnePoint database on a cluster.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

For more information about supported configurations in MOM, refer to the MOM_Configurations.pdf document on the MOM installation compact disc.
