When you attempt to reply to a post that does not have text in the Subject field or the body of the post in Outlook 2001 for Mac, the Reply button is not available or it does not function when clicked.

Text must be present in either the Subject field or the body of a post to reply to it. If you do not want to see text in both the Subject field and body of the created post, insert a space in the body of the post or the Subject field to create the illusion that there is not any text present.
