"Stop 0x000000D1" Error in Atmlane.sys (294442)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Network services in Windows 2000, you may receive the following stop message:
Stop 0X000000D1(0X0000001C, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0XEF08408B)
Note that the parameters in the error message may vary.

CAUSE

This error is caused by a timing issue between resetting Local Area Network Emulation (LANE) and the loss of the bus virtual circuit.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
