MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

  1. In Windows Explorer, make a copy of the sample database Northwind.mdb. Name the new database NWTest.mdb.
  2. Open NWTest.mdb and add an apostrophe to the name of any query. For example, change

    Sales by Year

    to:

    Sales by Year'

  3. On the Tools menu, point to Database Utilities, and then click Upsizing Wizard.
  4. On the first page of the Upsizing Wizard, click Create New database, and then click Next.
  5. On the next page, provide the name of a server to which you want to upsize your database as well as an appropriate Login ID and Password. Use the database name suggested by the wizard. Click Next.
  6. On the next page on which you are asked to choose the tables that you want to upsize, click the double-arrow button >>. After doing so, note that all tables are included in the list of objects to be upsized.
  7. Click Next, and then click Finish.

When the process is finished, the upsizing report appears.
  8. Scroll through the report and note that each table has been skipped.
