SYMPTOMS

When you map the same sub-Web a second time on a separate page of a Microsoft Visio drawing, the Off-page reference shape that refers to that sub-Web is replaced by the complete sub-Web map.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the separate mapping of the sub-Web refers to the same sub-Web as the Off-page reference shape.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
