SUMMARY

When you use Microsoft Outlook Mobile Manager, and you forward messages and reminders to a wireless device, you may receive duplicate or multiple copies of messages on your device.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior can occur because you cannot configure Outlook Mobile Manager to prevent duplicate messages from being sent to your device. Because the messages are being sent using Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), there is no confirmation that the message is received. If an error occurs when you forward a message, the message may be resent several times. This behavior only occurs if you experience connectivity or SMTP issues. If you continue to receive multiple messages, you may want to check with your Exchange Server administrator to ask about issues that may be occurring with the SMTP Connector or the network.
