SYMPTOMS

When you parse a post to a newsgroup and someone has sent a message that contains an invalid character in the Sender field, the following access violation occurs:
Access violation - code c0000005

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) cannot process invalid characters.

RESOLUTION

STATUS
