After you upgrade a computer from Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition to Windows XP Home Edition, if the computer was connected to a printer through the Internetwork Packet Exchange/Sequenced Packet Exchange (IPX/SPX) protocol, the network printer may no longer be listed in the Printers and Faxes folder.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because Client Services for NetWare (CSNW) is not included in Windows XP Home Edition.
