SYMPTOMS

If you try to play embedded Windows Media content that has been protected with Digital Rights Management (DRM), the content plays in the stand-alone player.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, you must acquire the license to play the content.

This behavior occurs only if a license to play the content is not found on the computer. After you acquire the license, you can play the embedded, protected content in the embedded player.
