To change the default font of the Outlook Express Folder List:
  1. Quit Outlook Express.
  2. Right-click the Windows desktop, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Appearance tab, and then click Icon in the Item box.
  4. Click the settings that you want to use in the Font box and the Size box, and then click OK to apply your changes.
  5. Restart the computer.
The font of Contacts and the Message List is the same as the font used by the Folder List. You can use the same procedure to change the default font for Contacts and the Message List.
