SYMPTOMS

When attempting to open Outlook 2000 you receive the following error message:
Outlook caused an Invalid Page Fault in module PSTPRX32.DLL

CAUSE

This problem may be caused by any of the following:
  • You have uninstalled Outlook Express.
  • Your installation of Outlook Express is damaged.
  • You are connecting to a damaged mailbox on an IMAP server.
Outlook (IMO) shares files with Outlook Express.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem unistall and reinstall Outlook Express. If you are using a mailbox on an IMAP server and reinstalling Outlook Express does not resolve the problem, contact your server administrator and have them create a new mailbox for you.
