SYMPTOMS

When you close the lid on a Toshiba Portege 7020CT portable computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 and that is going into Standby mode, you may receive a STOP 0x0000000A "blue-screen" error message similar to this:
Bugcheck code 0000000A Arguments fa5c1000 0000000d 00000001 800679a6
The stop code parameters vary.

CAUSE

An error code path is not clearing the ExpectingInterrupt flag before returning from AtapiInterrupt.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
