The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Metadirectory Services 2.2

This article was previously published under Q290289

SYMPTOMS

The Active Directory Management Agent (ADMA) may generate the following error messages when the ADMA makes updates to Active Directory.

An error message from a full ADMA run looks similar to the following error message in the logs:
ERR_00 0368 00/11/07 10:01:54.357 (AD-MA_dataFlowFromMdToAd) Error in GetNextChangedOperation(20001016140116Z:1926470, 5) : 14002 - DB5_RC_TOO_MANY_RECORDS_ALLOCATED
An error message from a delta ADMA run looks similar to the following error message in the logs:
ERR_00 05ac 00/11/07 15:18:58.391 (AD-MA_dataFlowFromMdToAd) Error in GetNextChangedOperation(20001107152736Z:2334629, 5) :
19015 - DS_RC_MEMORY_FAULT

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the ADMA attempts to update any read-only attributes in Active Directory. For example, if you configure the following attribute flow rule, this issue occurs:
$cd.cn = $mv.cn

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, do not configure attribute flow on any read-only attributes in Active Directory.
